P2UG Members
The initial mandate for the P2UGs members was two years, although the P2UGs should remain in place until the installation of the upgrades, initially foreseen during LS3 (Q1/2024-Q2/2026).
In 2026 the P2UG was reorganized, given the delay of LS3 to the period Q3/2026 – Q2/2030, with the addition of a Schedule Committee to review and monitor the overall schedule of both the ATLAS and CMS upgrades. The scope of the two technical panels was limited to the key sub-detectors driving the overall schedule: ATLAS (ITK & HGTD), CMS (Tracker & HGCAL).
