P2UG Members
The initial mandate for the P2UGs members was two years and should have remained in place until the installation of the upgrades, foreseen at that time during LS3 (Q1/2024-Q2/2026).
Given the delay of LS3 to the period Q3/2026 – Q2/2030, the P2UG was reorganized in 2026, with the addition of a Schedule Committee to review and monitor the overall schedule of both the ATLAS and CMS upgrades. The scope of the two technical panels was limited to the key sub-detectors driving the overall schedule: ATLAS (ITK & HGTD), CMS (Tracker & HGCAL).
