Resources and Finance Reviews

Most of CERN’s official experiments are reviewed by Resources or Finance Review Committees.

The LHC Experiments and the WLCG project have a dedicated committee, the LHC Resources Review Boards, with two Resources Scrutiny Groups reporting to it: one dedicated to the experiments (SG), and the other one to computing (C-RSG)

The RRBs meet twice every year, in April and October. The two scrutiny groups meet regularly during the year and submit their recommendations to the RRBs.

For the non-LHC experiments, CERN has established Finance Review Committees (FRC). These are meetings with funding agency representatives to monitor financial matters and to take budgetary decisions on these experiments. See more
